5 Days!
Five more days and then I will be home. I am ready to come home so that is exciting but we have three more games left which is also good. Currently we are on a 7 game win streak. I have been hitting pretty well still. Probably around .400 or .500 if I had to guess since I don't keep perfect track.

Last week in Hawaii
So my time in Hawaii is coming to an end within the next week. I have to say that it is definitely not too soon. I enjoyed my time out here but I'm ready to come home. I'll take some more pictures of the Japanese guys staying at the dorms with us and the Japanese teams that we are playing. I will also try to take some more pictures of Honolulu and such.

Pictures from Osaka Gakuin University

While we were at Osaka Gakuin University we went into a room called the iChat room where students practiced english. While we were in there a photographer for the school was snapping photos of me and placing me in the middle of Japanese students (presumably because I am white haha). Anyways the pictures are here:

There are two of me and some students and a group shot and one of me batting. Thought that was pretty neat!

2 more games to go!
So yesterday and today were extremely hot! Like mid 90s with high humidity.
We won yesterday 12-11 in a great comeback and lost today 10-6.
Over the two games I went 3-8 with a Double and a walk and 3 or 4 rbis.
Check the next post for some pics of Japan and I'll make a link to a snapfish or flickr with all of the photos from the trip.
Miss everyone!

Japan!
So first let me say, wow.
Finally have a chance to have internet for more than a few minutes.
Japan has been a great experience so far. We stayed in Nittaidai first for about a week. I just got into Osaka today.
So far we are 1 and 2 ( 1 win and 2 losses)
I hit a double which gave us the go ahead runs in the win so that was pretty neat.
We had a couple days to go explore Tokyo and that was so phenomenal we went to a temple and it was awesome. I'll upload pictures probably tomorrow.
We also went to a few other prefectures of Tokyo which were very cool.
My little Japanese phrase book has been a HUGE help since we have 3 Japanese players on the team, I have been able to chat with them.
So my little crouch is getting tiring but I can't wait to see you guys and write some more!

Walking to Waikiki from UH
Today I decided that I was going to set out and explore Waikiki a lil bit. I started by heading to the bookstore to get a bus pass so I wouldn't have to walk the distance, howevers I arrived at the bookstore after they had closed. Sweet. So I began my travel. I don't think I realized how far of a walk it was until I was about halfway there and it had already been half an hour of walking.
After more walking I finally arrived at a beach, I don't know what beach. I just know it was a beach, there was a lagoon that was separated from the ocean by some beachiness. It was pretty sweet, but I decided to trek on. After I walked through some side streets I eventually made it to a part of town that I was familiar with. From here I went to the beach area behind the Outrigger and walked along the beach for a good half hour or so.
3 hours and however many pages later of lying on the beach I decided I should probably head back so as to catch dinner.
The walk back was over an hour and half. I think next time I'll take the bus.
I'll take some pics or something and put them up soon.
Tuesday is coming, did you bring your coat?

Snorkeling in Hawaii
So many different kinds of fish in Turtle Bay! It is so nice to go out for an hour or so just cruising around checking out all the different kinds of fish. Hawaii has been a great experience so far and I think I'll stop doing this daily since I'll be here for awhile.

First night in Hawaii, 2nd day in Hawaii
Well we landed just fine at Honolulu Airport. Flight was pretty nice seeing as I slept most of the way. We stayed at some hotel (Queen Kapiolani?) for the night. That's about it for the first night.
Woke up the next morning, walked around Waikiki then ate some breakfast. Mahi Mahi for breakfast, quite delicious I must say. We packed up our luggage and drove to north shore where we will be staying for the rest of the time that my family will be out here. We are staying in a condo at Turtle Bay Resort. So exciting!
Mahalo friends!

First Post- Explanation
Basically just wanted to say what this blog is about and what I will blog about. First I hate the word blog, just wanted to throw that out there. Second I am going to write about all of the things that I do or happen to me while I am in Hawaii and Japan and then Hawaii again. I will try to post pictures also but I make no promises.
